Hiiii I am Sanya (mother of Inaaya Jindal) who is studying in playgroup in Paathshala. Today, I am going to share a story that has a deep moral.
There was a boy in a school called Ramesh. One day he saw his friend wearing a watch that he always wanted to buy but couldn’t. So he decides to steal it.
When his friend found about his missing watch, he complained to the teacher. Teacher politely ask kids to return the watch. With no response, teacher decides to check each student’s pocket. By now Ramesh knew that it would be his most embarrassing day in the school and was ready to be shamed in front of the classroom.
Then teacher announces that everyone has to close their eyes. Teacher starts to check for a watch and finally reaches to Ramesh. She puts her hand inside his pocket, quietly takes the watch out and moves ahead. She comes to the boy whose watch it belong and hands over it to him. She didn’t say a single word and decides to continue with the class lesson. Later that day, Ramesh quietly goes to meet his teacher to apologize for what he considered a heinous crime. He knocks the door and enters the room. Ramesh narrates the entire story and states how elate he feels for her for saving his dignity in front of the class. To which teacher replies, ‘I didn’t know that it was you, when I told the class to close the eyes, I decided to close mine as well.’
We need more teachers and leaders like this.
Moral of this story be: The influence of a good Teacher can never be erased.
