Healthy Rava Dosa Recipe for kids

Rava dosa is an excellent snack for your kids. It is a simple and easy dish because it does not require any fermentation and can be whipped up in a matter of a few minutes.

The combination of rava, rice flour, and plain flour makes it a delight for your kids. It also has some Healthy Benefits:

1 . Rava is a good source of iron and these minerals help to support the production of red blood cells.
2. Onion and carrots are also good for the kids to eat.

There are some Buying guidelines: Keep the below in mind when you are buying the ingredients you are making for your kid.
1. Buy rava in sealed form and also check the expiry date on the packaging.
2. You could choose to buy organic rava, rice flour, and plain flour.
3 Wash the vegetables properly.

“Ingredients
1/2 cup Rava
1/2 rice flour
1/4 cup of plain flour
1 tbsp curd
1 tbsp salt
4 cup water
1 tbsp jeera
A few curry leaves, finely chopped.
2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped.
1 onion and carrot finely chopped. Oil for roasting.

Instructions to prepare :
1. First, in a large mixing bowl take 1/2 cup of Rava,1/2 rice flour, and 1/4 cup of plain flour.
2. Also add 1 tbsp of curd,1 tbsp salt, and 2 1/2 cup of water.
3. Whisk and mix well making sure there are no lumps.
4. Further add 1 tbsp cumin and a few curry leaves,2 tbsp coriander, and 1 onion and carrot finely chopped.
5. Add 1 1/2 cup water and prepare a watery consistency batter.
6. Rest the batter for 20 min making sure the Rava has absorbed water.
7. Mix well making sure the batter is thin and watery consistency.
8. Now carefully pour the dosa batter over a hot tava.
9. Lower the flame and cook until the dosa turns golden and crisp.
10. Finally fold the dosa and serve Rava dosa immediately with coconut chutney.”
