At Paathshala School, we are committed to maintaining a safe, well-structured, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for every child. To ensure operational clarity, discipline, and transparency, the following policies are formally established and strictly enforced.


All Parents/Guardians are required to read, understand, sign, and comply with the policies stated below.

  1. Equal Care & Participation Policy
  • The school ensures equal supervision, care, and academic support for every student.
  • No child shall receive individualized or exclusive attention beyond standard classroom support.
  • Requests for shadow teachers or special supervision will be reviewed only upon submission of valid medical documentation and subject to management approval.
  • Participation in activities is encouraged; however, children will not be forced to participate against their comfort.

 

  1. Child Privacy & Image Protection Policy
  • Individual photographs or videos will not be shared upon personal request.
  • Event images, when shared, will be strictly in group format.
  • Live streaming or continuous classroom visuals are not permitted.
  • Requests for photographs during instructional hours will not be entertained.

 

  1. Toilet Training & Diaper Policy
  • Children must attend school in diapers until fully toilet-trained.
  • Diapers may be discontinued only when the child consistently communicates toilet needs and written information is provided to the school.
  • The school is not responsible for frequent clothing changes due to incomplete toilet readiness.
  • An extra set of clothes must be provided daily.

 

  1. Academic Curriculum Policy
  • The school follows a structured, research-based curriculum aligned with age-appropriate developmental standards.
  • Requests for advanced syllabus, additional academics, or customized teaching will not be considered.
  • Academic comparisons between children are discouraged.
  • Evaluations are conducted strictly according to developmental benchmarks.

 

  1. Fee Clearance & Certification Policy
  • Transfer Certificates and Class Completion Certificates will be issued only after full settlement of session fees.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable.
  • No refunds or adjustments will be provided for mid-session withdrawal.
  • All dues must be cleared prior to processing official documentation.

 

  1. Food & Tiffin Policy
  • Only vegetarian food is permitted on school premises.
  • Junk food is strictly prohibited.
  • Food must be sent in accordance with the school’s prescribed menu.
  • The school will not compel any child to eat or finish their tiffin if unwilling.

 

  1. Campus Access Policy
  • Parents are not permitted inside classrooms during school hours.
  • Access is restricted to the reception area unless formally authorized.
  • Classroom observation requires prior written approval.
  • Disruptions during academic hours will not be tolerated.

 

  1. CCTV & Surveillance Policy
  • CCTV systems are installed solely for internal safety monitoring.
  • Parents will not be granted access to live or recorded footage.
  • Footage review is restricted to management in cases of serious concern.

  • All communication must be conducted through authorized school channels.
  • Teachers will not respond to personal calls or messages beyond working hours.
  • Meetings require prior appointment.
  • Social media communication will not be considered official correspondence.

  • Children who are unwell must not attend school.
  • Only basic first aid will be administered for minor emergencies.
  • Medication will not be administered without written parental consent.
  • All medical conditions must be disclosed at admission.

 

  1. Student Release & Pick-Up Policy
  • Students will be released only to authorized guardians.
  • Identity verification may be required.
  • Late pick-up not allowed unless there is any emergency.
  • Any change in authorized person must be communicated in writing in advance.

  • Parents must refrain from posting false, defamatory, or misleading content about the school.
  • Concerns must be addressed directly with management.
  • Legal action may be initiated in cases of reputational harm.

 

  1. Admission Validity & Continuation Policy
  • Admission remains valid for one academic session only.
  • Promotion depends on age criteria and developmental readiness.
  • Management reserves the right to discontinue enrolment in case of repeated non-compliance.

 

  1. Safety & Liability Policy
  • While appropriate safety measures are implemented, minor injuries during routine play may occur.
  • Parents are responsible for belongings sent from home.
  • The school shall not be liable for loss of valuables.

  • In the event of any dispute, the decision of the management shall be final and binding.

  • Each child progresses at an individual pace.
  • Learning capacity, emotional maturity, and developmental readiness vary among children.
  • Teaching is conducted strictly according to the prescribed curriculum.
  • Academic results cannot be guaranteed or accelerated beyond natural readiness.
  • Comparisons between students are discouraged.

 

  1. Attendance, Punctuality & Uniform Policy
  • Wearing the prescribed school uniform is mandatory; entry without proper uniform may be denied.
  • A minimum of 90% attendance and 90% punctuality is compulsory.
  • The school shall not be responsible for learning gaps due to irregular attendance.
  • Parents may not demand repetition of missed lessons.
  • Parents are responsible for regular attendance, advance leave intimation, and completion of missed work.

  • Assessments will be conducted strictly as per the declared timetable.
  • Rescheduling or customization of assessment dates will not be permitted.
  • Separate assessments for absentees will be considered only in genuine medical emergencies with valid documentation and management approval.

 

  1. Fee Payment & Financial Compliance Policy
  • Fees are payable quarterly only; monthly or daily payments are not permitted.
  • Fees must be paid by the 10th of the first month of each quarter.
  • Non-payment beyond the 15th may result in suspension of services until dues and late charges are cleared.
  • Charges for events, functions, picnics, and celebrations are mandatory regardless of participation.

 

  1. Student Discipline & Zero Tolerance Policy
  • Teachers may exercise reasonable strictness to maintain discipline.
  • The school maintains a strict no-hit, no-abuse, and no-discrimination policy.
  • Foul language, physical aggression, or abusive behaviour by students will not be tolerated.
  • Persistent misconduct may result in discontinuation of admission without refund.

  • The school practices positive discipline methods.
  • Aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate conduct by parents toward staff will invite strict action.
  • Repeated violations may lead to termination of admission.
